Kaushambi police on Wednesday claimed to have seized illegal firecrackers and manufacturing materials weighing over 1,200 kg, including coal. They arrested Naushad Ali , a resident of Mahmoodpur Manauri. He was booked under relevant sections of the Explosive Act.
Police said that the firecracker manufacturing material was stored inside a godown located in a field. The material was collected with the objective of making firecrackers. TNN.
