SALISBURY — Partners In Learning’s recent fashion show, where special needs models bravely shared their stories on the runway, was a resounding success. The event, which saw more than 140 attendees, exceeded fundraising expectations, garnering more than $41,000 in support of the organization’s programs. The Just As I Am special-needs fashion show was a night to remember, filled with inspiration and empowerment.

Models, confidently showcased their unique styles, proving that beauty and strength come in all forms. Their stories touched the hearts of everyone present, highlighting the importance of inclusion and acceptance. “We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from our community,” said Norma Honeycutt, executive director at Partners In Learning.

“This event not only raised crucial funds but also significantly contributed to breaking down barriers and stereotypes. We are so proud of our models for their courage and confidence, and we are hopeful for a more inclusive future.” The fundraising momentum continues, thanks to a generous $10,000 matching donor.
