An exciting music festival will be returning for its 13th year and looks to raise money for an important cause. FarmFest, an annual Maple Cross music festival will return for its 13th year over the August Bank Holiday weekend, to raise funds for female and child refugees. The festival will feature a number of exciting upcoming indie artists including Pincher, Le Junk, Coming Up Roses, Millie Turner and Misty Miller across a single stage, on Lynsters Farm, in Maple Cross, just outside of Rickmansworth.

All year-round, Lynsters Farm provides a safe haven for 20 homeless and refugee women and children, many of who have fled war-torn countries like Ukraine for the safety of the UK. All ticket, food and drink sales from the festival go towards the running of the farm and supporting the families that now call it home - last year’s festival raised over £8,000. This year, organisers of the festival are hoping t raise even more money for their cause, trumping last years accumulation of £8,000 and possibly extending that number to ten thousand.

In addition to four days of live music, the festival will also offer on-site camping, craft beers on draught and soft drinks, as well as barbecue - with options for vegetarians and vegans. Scott Albrecht, who runs the farm and organises FarmFest, explains: “FarmFest isn’t Glastonbury. It’s a chilled-out single stage festival set in beautiful farmland next to a large, serene lake, where you can spend a few days discovering brilliant new.
