Popular Bollywood directors and siblings, Farah Khan and Sajid Khan's mother Menka Irani passed away at the age of 79 on Friday, July 26, in Mumbai. Mukesh Chhabra, Farah's good friend and casting director, confirmed the news to IndiaToday.in.
Menka Irani had recently undergone multiple surgeries recently. Menka Irani, who was the sister of actresses Daisy Irani and Honey Irani, had recently celebrated her 79th birthday on July 12. Farah and Sajid had taken to their Instagram accounts and penned a birthday wish for her.
The Housefull director shared a photo with him, his sister Farah, and their mother with the latter's birthday cake and wrote, "Happy Birthday mummy."
