Speculation is rife among fans who believe they've sussed out what might be included in a post-credits scene for the upcoming Superman film directed by James Gunn. Superman Legacy is currently in the post-production stage, having finished filming in the summer. While there's no official word on how many cameo appearances the film will feature or if there'll be a little something extra for viewers once the credits have rolled, many die-hard fans reckon they're onto something.

Reports suggest that Alan Tudyk, famed for his roles in A Knight's Tale, Firefly, Rogue One and Resident Alien, is set to make an appearance in the new Superman flick in a 'secret role'. Deadline reports that Tudyk is slated to appear in the film, although it's not yet confirmed who he'll be playing. Superman Legacy is set to kick off a new cinematic universe for DC Studios, under the guidance of director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran, reports the Daily Star .

Gunn, known for directing the Guardians of The Galaxy trilogy for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as segments in Avengers where those characters appeared, has a history of including significant post-credits sequences in his films. Fans are expecting similar from his next superhero venture. Now, fans are speculating that Tudyk could pop up in a post-credits scene to pave the way for another DC studios property.
