RTE star Kathryn Thomas looked like an "angel" as she posed in her extravagant Rose of Tralee outfit. The hit show returned this week with Kathryn and Daithi O Se taking to the stage to welcome each Rose to the competition. On Monday night, 18 our of the 32 Roses put their best foot forward, with women from places as far as North Carolina and Ohio.
Kathryn took to Instagram after the first night on stage to show off her stunning look. The Carlow native wore a stunning dress that she got from the Irish designer Helen Cody. The beige ballgown had mesh puffy sleeves and dragonflies printed on the frock.
She paired the little number with gold sandal heels and gold jewellery. Kathryn finished off her look by putting her blonde luscious locks into a tight high bun. The former Operation Transformation host captioned her post: "Night one.

In the end, Daithi announced that the New Zealand Rose, Keely O'Grady, won the votes and was crowned this year's Rose Of Tralee . The Speech and Language Therapy student at Canterbury University couldn't believe she won t.
