The Dallas Mavericks and the San Antonio Spurs kicked off their season on Thursday in a battle between two Southwest Division rivals. This also meant that this was the first time this season the fans would get a taste of two of the top superstars in the game today in Luka Doncic and Victor Wembanyama. For his part, Doncic made sure not to disappoint.
The Mavs All-Star busted out a crazy assist early in the second half as he led a fastbreak play for Dallas. Wembanyama stood in the way of Doncic and a free deuce, which is why the latter decided to kick the ball out to a teammate. In true Luka Doncic fashion, the Mavs star did just that in the most spectacular way.

Doncic secured the defensive rebound, and he was off to the races. Instead of attempting to lay it in over the outstretched arms of the 7-foot-4 Spurs big man, Doncic opted to pass the ball to P.J.

More than a few fans were left in disbelief by yet another highlight-reel play by Luka Doncic.
"I can’t even comprehend how he knew exactly where to pass it through with all the pressure," a comment on X read. I can’t even .
