Fans have shared they now 'get the hype' after they were given the first look at Lisa from Blackpink's debut acting role in the new season of The White Lotus. The anthology series will mark its return next year and HBO have shared a teaser showcasing the third iteration of the hit show. The series follows the exploits of various guests and employees of a luxury resort over the span of a week.

Created by Mike White, who also wrote and played the role of Ned Schneebly in School of Rock, the next iteration of the series will take part in Thailand. Filming took place around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok. The previous two took part in Hawaii and Italy respectively and White also returns as director for the series.

While the show will not make its official return to our screens until the new year, its shaping up to be the biggest yet with at least one cast member confirmed to return with a major debutant also on board. Writer and director White has previously said that the new series will explore new themes, saying it's "a kind of satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.
