A family has blasted easyJet for an "appalling" £3,900 holiday to Spain, claiming their stay at a three-star hotel had "dirty" rooms that were unfit for a dog. Mark Field, 61, along with his wife Karen, 59, was joined by their son Nathan, 32, daughter-in-law Nadia, 38, and grandchildren Albie, eight, who is autistic and non-verbal, and Baxter, four, for a seven-night "familymoon" in Spain this June. On arriving at Hotel Club Es Talaial in Cala d'Or, Mallorca, on June 24, Mark was dismayed to find the accommodation bore no resemblance to its online portrayal, remarking: "You wouldn't have put a dog in there.

" The family's grievances included "dirty" rooms with exposed wires and broken cupboards, necessitating self-cleaning of the bathroom, a balcony view of a car park complete with skip and bins, "filthy" restaurant tables, and additional charges for plastic cups for drinks during their stay. Despite lodging complaints with both easyJet and the hotel, Mark and Nadia report that neither has offered.
