Brooke Lambert is one of Lowell’s busiest and most prolific artists. And you don’t need to look any further than her late summer into fall newsletter for proof. Among her news is the fact that she was recently juried in as a new member of the Society of American Graphics Artists (SAGA) in New York.

She says: “The Society of American Graphic Artists (SAGA) is a national fine arts organization serving professional artists in the field of printmaking. SAGA provides its members with exhibition and networking opportunities in the New York City area, and in addition to various substantial exhibition prizes, many purchase awards allow SAGA members to be included in major U.S.

museum collections. Notable artists who have shown with SAGA include: Henri Matisse, Käthe Kollwitz, John Sloan, Edward Hopper, Pablo Picasso, Mary Cassatt, Joseph Pennell, John Marin, Childe Hassam, Will Barnet and John Taylor Arms. As a member of SAGA, I will be in exhibitions in New York City and across the country as well as show and collaborate at SAGA Gallery in Union Square in Manhattan.

I couldn’t be more excited and honored to be selected. I can’t wait for what’s to come.” Currently her art is on view through Sept.
