An 'extremely popular' Glasgow cafe has gone up for sale after closing down. Cafe Dougalli on Hyndland Road has been put on the market after a 'change in personal circumstances' led to the venue shutting in March 2024. It opened in November 2021 and soon attracted loyal regular customers and enjoyed regular footfall in the West End.
Now the business is being sold for an asking price of £25,000. Business agents Smith & Clough said the sale is a great opportunity for the brand to enjoy new life, or for a new owner to rebrand.
They said: "Our client took over the premises which had previously traded as Kitchenetta, in November 2021, before undergoing a refurbishment and rebranding as Café Dougalli. "The business proved extremely popular and quickly built up a loyal and regular clientele, predominantly from the local area, as well as benefiting from passing traffic and footfall. "The subjects also benefit from the nearby shops and businesses, and surrounding amenities including a number of nearby schools including Notre Dame and Hyndland Secondary School.
