MANCHESTER CITY are Premier League powerhouses these days and have won six of the last seven English league titles, winning them plenty of new fans. The defender made 15 appearances in all competitions in his first season and scored twice, including in a Europa League last 16 tie against Bayer Leverkusen . But the Englishman fell out of favour in the first half of the 2020/21 season behind closed doors, and he moved to Derby County on loan in the January transfer window, before leaving for Ipswich Town permanently in summer 2021. Now 27, Edmundson has been with Ipswich on their rise from League One to the Premier League, and made his first appearance in the top division off the bench in the Tractor Boys' 4-1 defeat to City on Saturday.
