It’s a massive week for the Helldivers 2 community. Arrowhead has launched their biggest update in quite some time, and it has brought life back to HD2 once more with players flooding back to the game to fight for democracy. Now, in addition to this patch, we have a new Premium Warbond right around the corner.

Since this update, the HD2 player count has more than doubled , and the community is showering Arrowhead with praise for listening to fans. Steam reviews have also improved from ‘mixed’ to ‘highly positive,’ and, in other news, it appears Arrowhead are moving to Unreal Engine 5 for their next project.

This has been confirmed by Arrowhead. It is following on from Freedom’s Flame which came out in August. Prior to the launch of Viper Commandos back in June, Arrowhead announced some big changes to futur.
