Exhibition to mark 120 years of town park

An exhibition will be held to mark 120 years of a local park. Horwich Heritage will be holding the display from August 17 to November 14 this year. Called '120 Years of Lever Park', it will celebrate the legacy of Lord Leverhulme, whose former estate it is based on.

The estate includes Rivington Terraced Gardens, trails, a replica of Liverpool Castle and goes right up to Rivington Reservoir. The exhibition, which will feature work from local photographer Peter Ravald, will be at Horwich Heritage Centre on Beaumont Road, BL6 7BG.
