In Raj and DK’s Citadel: Honey Bunny , now streaming on Amazon Prime Video IN, actor Kashvi Majumdar plays Nadia, the younger version of Priyanka Chopra who played the smouldering spy agent in the Hollywood version of the show. After a long time, a child’s adult-like behaviour doesn’t reek of pretence. Given the charisma the actress exuded in the show, her childhood confidence feels earned and not erratic.

In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, Majumdar opened up on a lot of things about working with Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the director duo, and her love for Dubai. Edited excerpts from the interview How did the role come to you? Actually it was Mukesh Chhabra who identified my talent and he was the one who told me to give an audition. It was the first ever audition I gave it and didn’t even know what an audition meant.

I then had to memorize the script and act it out, and that’s how I got to play Nadia. I’m very thankful to Mukesh Chhabra’s team. What was the preparation for you like? Which has been your most challenging scene from the show? You’ll actually be surprised that I actually didn’t know any preparation for this show except for like one or two workshops just to go through the script with Mukesh Chhabra’s team.

Which was the most challenging scene for you? I didn’t really have any challenging scene but there was this one scene where I had to ask my on-screen mom like an agent, like James Bond. That was the day I didn’t get en.
