They've barely been open six months - but these food truck owners are already taking on a major expansion by launching a restaurant in East Cork's largest town. Cork couple Sarah Collins and Giovanni Iemma held the soft launch of Midleton's newest takeaway 'Doughlicious' today to prep for their grand opening next week. Their new venue - based on Connolly Street at the former Toasties site - opened its doors for the first time at 9am and saw a huge turnout from both food truck regulars and first-time customers alike.
The pair's big expansion brings with it an expanded menu and the extra space has allowed them to hire a dedicated barista. As well as the usual range of hot drinks - each made with Italian coffee - the Doughlicious team is also offering a range of top grub including homemade focaccia bread sandwiches and pasta dishes with revolving specials. Their main meals are priced between €8-€13.

Their aim was to provide authentic Italian food, coffees and sweet treats at affordable prices and their grub soon became a smash hit with loc.
