For those clinging to the last rays of summer, Wizz Air has come up with a solution for an autumn sun escape that promises both warmth and tranquillity. The airline has delved into data to find out which European beaches offer the most space and best temperatures during the autumn months, analysing over 50 countries and their top beaches. Wizz Air's approach involved measuring each beach, calculating the area available per beach towel, and then factoring in the average number of daily visitors to estimate personal beach space.
They ranked beaches based on temperature and space, scoring each destination out of 50, with higher scores pointing to more desirable spots. With this combination of beach roominess and favourable weather conditions, Wizz Air has identified the prime locations for an extended summer getaway, reports the Express . Andras Rado, Wizz Air's head of communications, commented: "While many know Europe's iconic beach spots like Ibiza or the Algarve, there are countless hidden coastal gems that often go unnoticed.
" He added: "At Wizz Air, we're passionate about helping travellers discover these lesser-known treasures, from secluded coves in Croatia to sandy stretches in Albania, away from the crowds."
