The F1 world is in a flurry with the reported reappearance of the legendary Michael Schumacher. The German former racing driver was reportedly seen at his daughter Gina-Maria Schumacher's wedding – his first appearance in the public eye in 11 years after a horror ski accident in the French Alps that reportedly left him unable to walk or talk properly. The experienced skier was crossing an unsecured off-piste area between Piste Chamois and Piste Mauduit on December 29, 2013, when he fell and hit his head on a rock.

Despite wearing a helmet, he sustained a traumatic head injury and was airlifted to hospital and underwent two surgical interventions before being put into a medically induced coma. He began to improve in March 2014 and by April he was gradually withdrawn from the coma. In September 2020, the family reportedly moved to Majorca, Spain , where his wife Corrine Schumacher set up a hospital in their home.
