Everspace 2: Titans may not be a paradigm-altering expansion like Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty but it adds a bunch of new stuff to the game’s world(s) for you to explore and engage with. As the title suggests, these additions are quite large. The first new major addition are Leviathans.

These get introduced with a new quest that then turns into random encounters. Leviathans are, to put in a nutshell, space whales. The starter quest involves helping a scientist research this ancient, hitherto thought extinct species.

One thing leads to another and the quest runs you afoul of the Redeemers. A new faction that has their own plans for these living fossils. After this first encounter, these Redeemers will keep popping up at every corner to slow your progress.

One of the biggest things in Everspace 2: Titans is a giant skeleton in the Khosh Orbit.
