Monday, August 5, 2024 The 2024 Ever Glamour Nha Trang (EGN) festival wrapped up on August 3, captivating audiences with a spectacular drone light show. The festival’s highlight came as the UAE team, known as the “Light Wizards,” clinched the championship with a blend of lightweight drones, pyrotechnics, and a deep dive into Vietnamese culture, showcasing elements like the Dong Son bronze drum and the iconic Lac Bird. On the competitive front, teams from Korea, France, and China distinguished themselves, earning accolades for Best Technical Performance, Best Image, and Best Story, respectively.

The “Sky Artists” from France impressed with a 1,000-drone show that revisited historical marvels, including the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and Vietnam’s own Ha Long Bay. The opening night on July 13 saw the Korean “King of Pyrodrone” team pioneer a drone display featuring silent fireworks, a first in Southeast Asia, creating a unique cinematic experience. Meanwhile, the Chinese team’s performance married striking visuals with popular Vietnamese tunes, portraying Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa as a fusion of tradition and modernity.

The festival’s conclusion was marked by performances from beloved national artists and the awarding of two Guinness World Records to Khanh Hoa for hosting the largest light shows featuring the wonders of the world and Vietnamese cultural symbols. These achievements highlight Khanh Hoa’s status as a top bay area and a leader in innovative ligh.
