Monday, September 16, 2024 In an exciting announcement for travelers, Eurowings has unveiled plans to introduce a new direct service between Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) in Sweden and Preveza/Lefkada Airport (PVK) in Greece for the Northern Summer 2025 season. This new route is expected to draw attention from both Swedish and international travelers seeking sun-soaked adventures in one of Greece’s most picturesque coastal destinations. With convenient schedules, this connection offers increased accessibility to Lefkada Island and the surrounding Ionian coastline, famous for its pristine beaches, historic charm, and outdoor activities.

Starting from 17th May 2025, Eurowings will operate weekly flights, gradually increasing the frequency to twice a week during the peak travel season between 17th June and 12th August 2025. This seasonal service reintroduces a much-anticipated route that was last served during the summer 2022 season, addressing rising demand for leisure travel between Sweden and Greece. The new Eurowings route between Stockholm Arlanda and Preveza will be served by an Airbus A319 aircraft, offering convenient flight times for both leisure and business travelers.
