Europe's most immersive waterslide is nearly 250m long but some say it's a 'nightmare'

The Piranha ride at Miramar Waterpark in Weinheim measures a staggering 242m (795ft) and even has the option to race your friends. Countless videos have been shared on social media showing off the ride's many features, including flashing polka dot lights in a number of different colours with different hues as the background.

Elsewhere there are striped lights in the tunnel, which finally ends in a darkened red room. One video, posted to YouTube as a short, showed a man carrying a selfie stick and whizzing down the ride. He could be heard shouting as Pump It by the Black Eyed Peas played in the background.
