European budget airline Wizz Air recently launched 10,000 ‘all you can fly’ passes, which sold out within days. Herald Travel asks New Zealand airlines if they would consider something similar. A European airline has launched an annual travel subscription that allows travellers to fly internationally for €599 ($1090) a year.

Wizz Air, which is headquartered in Hungary, released 10,000 “all you can fly” passes, which sold out within days of launching, indicating a high demand for airline subscription services. The pass allows passengers to book round-trip or one-way flights for $1130 per year. Travellers must sign up for 12 months and can use it on the airline’s entire network.

Luggage additional to a personal item is not included and each flight involves an additional flat fee of £9.00. Passes can be used to travel from almost 200 cities in over 50 countries on 800 Wizz Air routes.
