Lufthansa Group: Germany’s Lufthansa Group, encompassing carriers such as Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, and Swiss, is set to recommence flights to Tel Aviv starting February 1, 2025. This decision comes after a suspension period due to heightened regional conflicts.

However, flights to Tehran remain suspended until at least February 14, and services to Beirut are on hold until after February 28. Wizz Air: The Hungary-based budget airline Wizz Air resumed its flights to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport on January 15, 2025, ahead of the official ceasefire. The airline operates routes from various European cities including London Luton, Budapest, Vienna, Milan, Warsaw, and Athens.

Additionally, Wizz Air restarted flights to Amman, Jordan, on January 16, 2025. British Airways: According to reports, British Airways plans to resume its services to Israel from April 5, 2025, initially offering one flight per day to Tel Aviv. Air France and KLM: Air France is expected to restart its service between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Tel Aviv on January 24, 2025.
