Friday, November 15, 2024 Etihad Airways , the flagship carrier of the United Arab Emirates, is marking a year of exceptional growth and success at its base in Terminal A at Zayed International Airport. Since transitioning fully to the new terminal in November 2023, the airline has boosted its operations, increasing its weekly flights from 1,336 to 1,732. Etihad now offers connections from Abu Dhabi to over 80 destinations across the globe, supported by its expansive network.

From its state-of-the-art Terminal A, Etihad has been a key driver behind Zayed International Airport’s rise as the fastest-growing airport in the Middle East, particularly for international scheduled seat capacity. The airport is now equipped to accommodate up to 45 million passengers annually.
