Erin McGregor has admitted she was both surprised and delighted to land a huge US magazine deal to cover her wedding. Erin, who is the older sister to MMA star Conor McGregor, recently tied the knot with partner Terry Kavanagh, 47. Conor and his fiancee Dee Devlin, who was one of the bridesmaids, were amongst the guests at the Cashel Palace Hotel.

Incredibly, People magazine signed an exclusive deal to cover her big day at the Tipperary venue. At the launch of her Bridal Collection with BPerfect, she told EVOKE.ie : ‘I actually don’t know how it came about but it was an amazing experience, amazing! ‘The photographs were beautiful, I got to speak about my amazing son and our family and yeah it was an amazing piece!’ A post shared by Erin Mc Gregor Kavanagh (@erinmcgregor123) Erin also opened up on how they made the day inclusive for her seven-year-old son Harry who has autism.

The 43-year-old mum-of-one said she chose a venue close to home which helped her little boy handle the day ‘in his way.’ Harry has autism which is one of the main reasons that she and Terry eventually chose Cashel Palace Hotel. She explained: ‘He was there the night before.

We had pre-recorded everything.’ ‘So, he got to walk down the aisle on two screens.’ ‘So he was a little bit overwhelmed.

But as I walked down the aisle and I was actually getting married, he actually stood at the door that I just walked [through] and just watched us from behind the door.’ A post shared by Cono.
