Our own Grateful Calvin used this post in a piece published earlier, but I thought it deserved some attention. As you know, Kamala Harris supporters have spent the last two days trying to figure out how an unpopular vice president who no one voted for managed to lose the election to Donald Trump in spectacular fashion. As we've reported, white women are getting a lot of the blame, but the ones who voted for Harris are going to wear blue wristbands so they can distinguish themselves from those white women.

Speaking of earlier posts, I remember vividly back in November of 2016 writing a couple of posts on stories about women flocking to the salon to either get their hair cut really short or to dye it black because Trump won the election. These were self-proclaimed "nasty women" who admitted to crying for three days after the election. So it was kind of nostalgic when I read our own Warren Squire's piece earlier about women shaving their heads in mourning.

Speaking of mourning, I live in a very blue suburb of a very blue city, and as I took the dog for a walk today, I saw one one the parking spaces at the library had a huge cardboard box for recycling yard signs. Just walking past I saw a couple of despondent-looking women tossing their Harriz-Walz yard signs into the box. How are they going to recycle them? Pass them out when Kamala Harris and Tim Walz run again in 2028? I'll try to get a photo of the pile of signs .

.. it was pretty great.

Anyway, here's that picture of two wom.
