Taking place on Saturday 12 October at the historic Lockerbie Town Hall, the Borderlands Whisky Festival promises to be a celebration of the rich heritage and craft, not only of distilleries in the border regions, but also of whisky producers from further afield. For the first time in Lockerbie, 30 distilleries and independent bottlers, from both Scotland and England, will gather under one roof to showcase and offer a diverse range of whisky from the border regions and beyond.

In addition, there’ll be a programme of engaging masterclasses led by industry experts from Moffat, Glasgow, The Borders and Ad Gefrin distilleries. The all-female led team behind the hugely successful, award winning Fife Whisky Festival decided to bring their passion for whisky, and their expertise in creating highly acclaimed, sold-out whisky events, to the town of Lockerbie. Co-founders Karen Somerville and Justine Hazlehurst are always keen to share their passion for whisky while upholding their festival ethos of benefiting the local community.
