The latest episode of the ITV competition closed with Hollie Peabody’s rendition of Selena Gomez’s Lose You To Love Me, as they overcame their nerves to perform. The 21-year-old prison worker had the audience cheering them on, viewers at home in tears, with one of the four judges turning their seat and completing their team.

After wowing LeAnn Rimes , Will.i.am , Danny Jones , and Tom Fletcher , it was Sir Tom Jones who pressed the button, remarking: ‘That was really lovely.

’ The 84-year-old Welsh singer admitted he hadn’t heard the song choice before, quipping: ‘There’s a lot of things I’ve not heard before,’ and adding that Hollie ‘created something and stayed there’. ‘I loved it.’ After hearing the praise from the judges, Hollie admitted they’d had ‘a little cry’ before coming on stage, due to nerves.

‘You’ve tamed that dragon, and you came and scorched the ceiling, and now you’re on team Tom,’ Will.i.am told them.

‘You don’t need to be nervous, you did a lovely job,’ Sir Tom added, as his team gained its last member. ‘Auditioning is massively out of my comfort zone, I don’t do performing anywhere,’ Hollie had previously said. ‘It’s a big step for me.
