Fans will remember that Rose arrived in the Dales earlier this year as Will's estranged ex-wife and mother of Dawn Taylor, played by Olivia Bromley.

It was later revealed that Rose was being blackmailed by Ruby Fox-Milligan, played by Beth Cordingly, who is determined to bring down Kim Tate and ruin her life. Kim eventually discovered that Ruby and Rose were plotting against her. After a confrontation at Home Farm, Kim ordered Rose to leave permanently.
