The truth shockingly emerged in Wednesday's nail-biting episode (21 August), where Tom King played by actor James Chase, cold-heartedly hands Piper over to an unwitting couple under the pretence of offering the pooch a fresh start. Little did they know, they were actually being tricked into taking poor Belle's (played by Eden Taylor Draper) dog, while she remains oblivious to the fact that Piper is, in fact, s till very much alive.
Wednesday night's drama kept fans glued to their TVs as the nefarious Tom used Piper as the newest device in his twisted campaign to dominate Belle. The situation seemed bleak for the beloved canine in Monday's heart-wrenching episode (19 August) as a road accident nearly ended in tragedy. This left both Piper clinging to life and Tom, as well as Rhona Goskirk (portrayed by Zoe Henry), fighting to save her, reports the Daily Star .
