Tom King might have survived having an axe lodged into his back , but it looks like he could get his comeuppance through an unlikely villager on Emmerdale . Viewers of the ITV soap found out tonight that Tom (played by James Chase) was alive despite his life-threatening wounds, and appeared to have trapped wife Belle ( Eden Taylor-Draper ) by luring her back to his bedside. It comes after recent Emmerdale scenes saw Ball make the brave decision to hold him accountable for his actions and report him to the police, proof in hand.
But when the news reached Amelia Spencer ( Daisy Campbell ), Tom was immediately made aware of Belle's plan and he soon hatched his own. Unfortunately for him, this resulted in him being struck with an axe by Belle, who was terrified for her life at the time. This Friday (September 27, 2024), however, it was revealed that Tom was not dead as he'd managed to flee before collapsing outside, where Liam Cavanagh ( Jonny McPherson ) found him.
Speaking to the Mirror at the Inside Soap Awards on Monday evening, actress Daisy Campbell hinted at what was to come for her character Amelia - suggesting that she might make a huge U-turn and team up with Belle to take Tom down. She says: "Oh I want her to team up with Belle! I'm reading the scripts and I'm like, 'Come on, you've got to pull through for Belle'. So hopefully we'll see some of that.
" Explaining Amelia's thought process, Daisy explains: "She's not seeing it right now because he's an older man - you kno.
