Tuesday, July 16, 2024 Emirates SkyCargo has announced an order for five additional 777 Freighters, selecting the world’s most capable twin-engine freighter once again to accommodate increasing cargo demand. This new purchase brings Emirates’ total order to 245 Boeing widebody airplanes, which includes 10 777 Freighters. Emirates SkyCargo, the cargo division of Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is set to increase its main deck cargo capacity by 30% by 2026 with its investment in the 777 Freighter.

This will expand Emirates’ freighter fleet to a total of 17 aircraft, including 777 Freighters, 777 converted freighters, and 747 Freighters. “Demand for our world-class product and services is growing exponentially, further amplified by Dubai’s Economic Agenda which aims to double foreign trade and reinforce the city’s position as a global trading hub.
