Tuesday, November 12, 2024 Emirates, the premier international airline, has recently launched its Chauffeur-Drive Services (CDS) in Riyadh, enhancing the travel experience for its premium passengers. This service is now available to those flying in First and Business Class to and from King Khalid International Airport, providing a seamless, door-to-door experience that mirrors the airline’s superior onboard offerings. Travelers in these premium classes can avail themselves of the CDS on any of the airline’s three daily flights to Riyadh.

This complimentary service covers areas within a 100-kilometre radius of the airport, with charges applicable for additional mileage. Emirates offers this chauffeur service across more than 70 cities in its network. The expansion in Saudi Arabia is part of Emirates’ broader strategy to upgrade its services in key global markets.

This commitment is showcased by their recent US$5.4 million investment in a new dedicated lounge at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. The spacious 900-square-metre lounge can host 190 guests and caters to both business and leisure travelers.

Furthermore, Riyadh was the first GCC city to receive Emirates’ newly refurbished Boeing 777 in early October, featuring a revamped Business Class and the new Premium Economy seats. The four-class aircraft provides 24 Premium Economy seats, offering a more spacious and enhanced flying experience. The updated Business Class cabin includes enhanced privacy feat.
