Thursday, November 28, 2024 Emirates is proudly celebrating the 53rd UAE Eid Al Etihad on 2 December with a series of festive events, onboard delights, and cultural experiences, all reflecting the UAE’s values of unity, sustainability, and progress. The airline has rolled out a distinctive lineup of activities, including Emirati-inspired sweet treats for passengers, cultural displays at Emirates’ headquarters, and a showcase of local sustainability stories, designed to honor the nation’s achievements and its vision for the future. The celebrations began on 28 November with a special event at the Emirates Group Headquarters in Dubai.

Sir Tim Clark, Emirates’ President, marked the occasion with a traditional cake-cutting ceremony, followed by an immersive cultural experience for employees. This included a heritage village showcasing Emirati craftsmanship, live performances, and interactive activities that brought the spirit of the UAE to life. From 2 to 4 December, Emirates passengers will enjoy a taste of Emirati tradition with festive sweet treats served on flights departing from Dubai.

Premium passengers in First, Business, and Premium Economy classes will indulge in a delectable pairing of loomi cheesecake and chocolate cardamom brownie, while Economy Class customers can enjoy chocolate and date truffles. In addition, those flying aboard the Emirates A380 will be treated to a selection of regional desserts, including pistachio namoura, date cake, aseeda, and cardamo.
