Friday, August 30, 2024 Over the past twelve months, Emirates has significantly expanded its global reach by offering connections to nearly 1,700 cities beyond its direct routes. This expansion has allowed the airline to facilitate seamless travel for an average of 61,000 passengers each week through its network and those of its partners. Emirates has enhanced its service offerings by establishing new partnerships and strengthening existing ones within the transportation sector.

The airline now boasts collaborations with 31 codeshare partners, 118 interline agreements, and 13 rail and helicopter service providers. With 162 partners across more than 100 countries, Emirates offers an extended network that provides travelers with more efficient connections, single-ticket travel itineraries, advanced baggage handling, frequent flyer perks, lounge access, and a host of other benefits designed to create a smooth journey from start to finish. Travelers from partner airlines find it easier to reach popular destinations via Emirates’ extensive network, which includes over 140 destinations.

The airline ensures effortless transitions at Dubai International Airport (DXB), supported by top-tier services both on the ground and in-flight. This year, Emirates has initiated 16 new partnerships, including significant codeshares with Avianca and Batik Air Malaysia. Additionally, the airline has secured interline agreements with carriers such as KAM Air, Sri Lankan Airlines, Condor, Flynas, Vi.
