Tuesday, October 1, 2024 IHG is bringing its Vignette Collection to Egypt, with a new luxury hotel in Port Said, blending heritage and modern hospitality, set to open by December 2027. IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in hospitality, has entered into a management agreement with Maxim Hotels and Resorts Management to introduce the Vignette Collection brand to Egypt. This milestone will take place in Port Said, where the Vignette Collection Hotel Royal Maxim is set to open by December 2027.

The hotel will offer a harmonious fusion of rich heritage and modern hospitality, providing guests with a lavish yet genuine experience. The property will consist of 140 keys, divided into two unique sections. The first section, housed in a heritage building that once served as the Suez Canal Authorities’ headquarters, will feature stunning views of the canal.

The second section, a newly constructed beachfront property, will offer guests direct access to the shore for a serene coastal experience. Vignette Collection, known for its exclusive and uniquely curated hotels, caters to travelers seeking diverse and immersive experiences in prestigious urban and resort destinations. This addition strengthens IHG’s expanding Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, appealing to both leisure and business travelers alike.
