PHOTOGRAPHERS caught a nearly century-old truck left to rot in a desolate forest. In a Facebook group, the snapper showcased the classic pickup with years of rot - the truck has likely found its final resting place. The driver posted the pictures in a group dedicated to abandoned classic vehicles.

Images show a 1930s Chevy pickup that appears to have sat in the woods for decades. The truck's engine had been ripped out for parts. Mature trees have rooted through the vacant hood - the trees appear to be several years old with multiple well-developed branches.

Rust has taken over most of the truck's metal body and the wood-panelled bed is grey with weathering.
