EASYJET has announced a new route to Paris from a small UK airport for this winter. Passengers in Yorkshire will soon be able to book city breaks to the French capital, with new flights setting off from Leeds Bradford from October this year. The twice weekly service will take off on Mondays and Fridays, from October 28 and will continue through the winter until March 28 next year.

Tickets for the flights are on sale now and can already be booked via the airline's website from £23.99. Tom Holdsworth, Leeds Bradford 's aviation development manager, said the new flights showed the increase in demand for European flights from the airport.

He told the Telegraph and Argus : "Paris is one of the world’s most iconic cities, and this addition to our growing network is a reflection of the increasing demand from the region’s holidaymakers to visit some of the most sought after destinations in Europe." Read More on Flights EasyJet also has plans for multiple weekly flights to Geneva in Switzerland from Leeds Bradford. They will fly for a six-week period starting from January 18, 2025.

The new services are part of the short-term future for Leeds Bradford, but the airport also has some ambitious long-term plans too. Recently, its CEO Vincent Hodder revealed that conversations are taking place with airlines about connecting the airport to further flung destinations for the first time in its history .
