Friday, August 23, 2024 In a significant boost to winter tourism, EasyJet is set to introduce new direct flights from Milan Malpensa Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Kittilä, one of Finnish Lapland’s top winter destinations. Starting in November 2024, these routes will provide travelers with increased access to the enchanting region, known for its breathtaking landscapes and the awe-inspiring Northern Lights. The Milan-Kittilä route will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, beginning on November 20, 2024, and continuing until March 26, 2025.

Similarly, the Paris-Kittilä route will run on Thursdays and Sundays from November 21, 2024, through March 23, 2025. With the introduction of these new routes, EasyJet will offer a total of 19 direct international connections to Lapland’s airports during the peak winter season. This network includes existing services from London Gatwick and Manchester to Kittilä, as well as 15 routes to Rovaniemi Airport, with six of these being newly added.

Lapland’s growing reputation as a premier winter destination has driven increased demand for convenient travel options. Renowned for its snow-covered wilderness, vibrant Northern Lights, and unique cultural experiences, the region continues to captivate tourists from across Europe and beyond.
