EastEnders has teased new scenes ahead for one villain, following the news they would be leaving the BBC soap. Teasers detail it's Dean Wicks' plea hearing next week, with a trial looming for the character who was framed for the murder of Keanu Taylor. The villain had caused Linda Carter misery once more after his comeback last year, having been away since 2016.
Dean's return last year led to heartache as he continued to claim she had lied about what happened, tormenting her in numerous ways. With Dean also having caused drama for Jean Slater and his own daughter Jade Green, no one questioned it when he was charged for Keanu's murder, after a previous feud. Keanu's real killer Linda went along with the story and helped frame him, revenge for what he had put her through.
But with Linda still struggling with her crime and continuing to hit the bottle in recent months, will she end up exposing the truth? It's the day of Dean’s plea hearing next week, and Linda is struggling to cope and it's noticed by Keanu's sister Bernie. She's left deflated when Jack Branning reveals he can’t attend the hearing, but her attention is soon diverted to Linda who tries to evade her questioning. After the hearing, Linda and pal Sharon Watts have a heart-to-heart over the looming trial.
Both of the women were involved in Keanu's murder, and they no doubt fear the truth could come out in court or that Dean will be set free. It comes as Dean actor Matt Di Angelo confirmed his exit from the show f.
