EastEnders star Vicki Michelle has revealed she is back at work just days after breaking bones in a horror fall. The 73-year-old acting legend has been playing Jo Cotton on the BBC soap since 2023 - and fans feared she would be out of action for weeks as reports revealed she was rushed to hospital a week ago. But now the actress is up and about and back at work at her radio job - although it's not clear if she will be absent from Albert Square while her bones heal.

Taking to social media on Sunday, Vicki - who older TV fans may recognise as Yvette Carte-Blanche from the iconic BBC sitcom 'Allo 'Allo! - announced her return to the airwaves. She posted a beaming snap of herself smiling while sat in front of a microphone. She wrote alongside the image: “Yaaay I’m back.

Join me for fab music and fun. See you there.” Fans were quick to congratulate her on the news that she was returning to her radio gig.

One enthusiastic fan wrote in reply: “Good news”, while another commented: “Always good to hear your voice on the radio Vicki. Will look forward to tuning in. Hope the shoulder is mending well.

” Her update comes a week after reports stated she had broken her shoulder after suffering a dramatic fall. Vicki herself commented on the incident by issuing a statement online. She wrote: "So sorry everyone No Vix Mix Sunday this w.
