Vicki Michelle , who’s known for playing Jo Cotton on the popular BBC One soap, explained in an Instagram post on Saturday, 17 August that she’d visited hospital after the “painful” incident and that she’d been left with a broken shoulder. In a snap uploaded to the social media site, the actress could be seen wearing an arm sling around her neck as she waited in hospital.

Missing you already.” In response to the update, fans of the 73 year old flocked to the comments section where they showed their support for the star. “Aw so painful for you, gentle hugs,” wrote one.

“Sorry to hear that Vicki. Please do look after yourself! Hope you’re all healed up and feeling better very soon,” another added. A third said: “Take care Vicki! Get better soon xx”.
