Linda's distress escalates next week when her struggle with alcoholism spirals out of control, putting her in a precarious situation. On Monday (August 12), Linda's pre-trial meeting arrives but she's struggling with her sobriety in the wake of more poison pen letters. Linda hits rock bottom (Image: BBC) Meanwhile, at the prison, Bernie visits villainous Dean in prison where he demands that Bernie ups the ante with the letters to put pressure on Linda, so she starts sending texts too.

Linda is left rattled but soon realises whoever is sending the threats has her mobile number and tells her son Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) she’s not going to attend the meeting. In a desperate bid to calm Linda enough to get her there, Johnny takes matters into his own hands, but how will get his terrified mum through her co.
