Presenter Eamonn Holmes has prompted his viewers to not forget one main factor of Phillip Schofield's shock affair. The GB News host hasn't held back his thoughts on his former This Morning colleague after Phillip admitted to having an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger colleague. When Phillip quit the show last summer, Eamonn Eamonn fumed on social media: "Schofield has finally been caught out" and branded ITV "The ministry of lies.

" Eamonn said he had "felt used and ashamed" after his ITV colleagues had lied to him as he launched a number of furious tirades on social media as well as on his GB News show. This week, Phillip made his controversial return to TV on Channel 5's Cast Away . Eamonn has yet again not shied away from his true thoughts as he ripped into his co-star Isabel Webster due to a comment she made about the disgraced star.

Isabel pointed out that Phillip "hadn't done anything illegal". However, Eamonn fired back : “Why is that even relevant? He met the boy when he was 15, so why do you keep on pushing that?” Phillip recently revealed he'll be sharing his "story of survival" on the Channel 5 programme. Sharing still images, he penned: "Now you know how I spent my Summer! Alone for 10 days, no food, no water, no crew.

My story of survival, both on a desert island and off it." Following the news, Eamonn insisted he is still "proud" to have been one of the people who "threw [Schofield] under the bus". He said: "I believe he is where he deserves to.
