Saturday, November 9, 2024 DXC Technology , a prominent Fortune 500 global leader in technology services, has appointed James Walker as its new Chief Administrative Officer. This strategic appointment further strengthens DXC’s leadership team, with Walker reporting directly to Rob Del Bene, the company’s Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Walker will be responsible for overseeing the company’s global operations and leading transformation efforts aimed at driving growth and improving operational efficiency.
A key focus will be enhancing the DXC operating model to ensure exceptional customer service. Walker will also be tasked with boosting workforce productivity, ensuring clear lines of accountability across the organization, and overseeing corporate business services, including IT functions. With over 30 years of experience in technology and financial services, Walker brings a wealth of expertise to DXC.
Prior to joining the company, he was Vice President of Economics at IBM Cloud, where he led initiatives centered on cost reduction, automation, and enhancing cross-functional collaboration. His career includes leadership roles at major financial institutions such as Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, and Credit Suisse. Walker earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Newcastle University.
