The 2024 Paris Olympics has officially ended and the Dutch team has finished in sixth position overall, returning home with a record 34 medals. Team Netherlands won 15 gold medals, 7 silver and 12 bronze. The Netherlands won gold medals in such as 3x3 basketball, hockey, marathon swimming, sailing, rowing, track cycling and athletics. The biggest winner for Team NL was track cyclist Harrie Lavreysen who completed a golden hat trick, wracking up wins in the men’s team sprint, individual sprint and the keirin. Another memorable medal collection went to Sifan Hassan who earned a gold medal in the marathon, after winning two bronze medals in the 5.
