While he credited his father, he also spoke about two other important relationships that contributed to his personal and professional growth. In the exclusive interview, Deverakonda revealed that he often seeks out the opinions of others to gain perspective. Discussing his inner circle, he shared that there are only two or three people, outside of the entertainment industry, with whom he is very close.
He emphasised that one of these key figures is his father, while the others are two relationships that have “played a very big role in my life”. When asked about the driving force behind his success, he stated, “The only inspiration and motivation that drew me to do who I am today has very clearly been wanting to change my life. It’s being a want for money, somehow he knew that money is the centre of this world and it was a fight for respect.
You wanted to be respected, you wanted comfort for your family. It was nice to see your parents fight so hard. It was mainly money, respect and making a name.
