Saturday, September 7, 2024 Dubai to Sharjah travel is transformed with new 12-minute intercity bus routes, offering faster commutes and driving a surge in business travel across the emirates. The travel time between Dubai and Sharjah will now be reduced to just 12 minutes for commuters using inter-emirate bus services. This improvement follows the recent announcement by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in collaboration with Sharjah’s Roads and Transport Authority, about the resumption of two key intercity bus routes starting Sunday.

The move aims to enhance convenience for those traveling between the two emirates, offering a faster and more efficient option. One of the major benefits of these bus services is that they will operate on dedicated lanes, ensuring that commuters avoid the usual traffic congestion between Dubai and Sharjah. This step will not only save time but also improve the overall travel experience for daily passengers who frequently commute between the emirates.

The first route, E306, will begin at Al Ghubaiba Bus Depot in Dubai and terminate at Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah. Along the way, it will pass through Al Mamzar, with buses departing every 20 minutes. Six double-decker buses will serve this route, ensuring ample space and comfort for passengers.

Route E307, the second bus service, will also utilize six double-decker buses and will start from Deira City Centre Bus Station in Dubai, heading towards Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah. .
