It’s not just humans that can enjoy a luxurious spa treatment and five star hotel experience, with businesses now offering that opportunity for our beloved pets. In one such case, a former builder and cat fanatic now provides lavish spa treatments, plush caviar menus, cooled bottled water and more at The Luxury Cat Hotel – which saw one guest being dropped off in a Bentley. Hidden away on the outskirts of Boston , the hotel, on Fenside Road, is regularly visited by furry customers looking for their own five star holiday destination.

The establishment is run by childhood sweethearts, Eddie and Stephanie Morrison, who transformed their derelict barn more than eight years ago. After spending some time away from work, Eddie, 76, who is originally a builder from Bolton in Greater Manchester, started looking for a new pastime. He said: “I was looking for something after being fed up with doing nothing.

We decided to revamp the barn and spent quite a lot of money on it. Even though it was a big investment, I knew it would work. “We are both big cat people so we just thought we would do it.

” The hotel features nine well-equipped suites and a bespoke spa. Each suite is heated and includes various hideaway spots, climbing facilities, toys, a water feature, designer beds and an outdoor viewing platform that overlooks the River Witham. Feline guests can wind down for bed with some mood lighting in the evening and even watch films such as Disney’s Finding Nemo on the smart TV.
